Shae Berio


I could incorporate flash action script 2.0 into my interactive resume in many different ways. I could use the if statement to choose when to play certain movie clips depending on certain variables. I could use the get timer function to some how set a variable in which my petals will fall off my rose at a certain time rate. I also used action script that we have not used. I like action script. I used action script to make my water move. I also created my own movie clip to mimic action script to se if it would be easier.
Action script is the key to a good resume.

febuary 19th

Today was basicaly my touch up day. I found many errors in my art work and went through and touch them up. I fixed any thing that looked wrong. I made sure everything was on its own sepperate layer. I made my rose emerge from water instead of the ground. Now i need to go back through and add motion tween.

BPa reflection

I competed in BPA (Business Professionals of America) an organization that helps young adults mature into the business world of professionals. I competed in the competition that falls under the category of web site design. The web site design competition took place here in Ohio. It took place at the Eastland Career Center on the 2nd floor. This competition was amongst my team (seniors of the southwestern career academy), the juniors of southwestern and Pickerington county. In the years that have gone by in this competition Pickerington county is normally known to win across the board. But this year we have a new web team consisting of myself (Shae Berio), Sothavy Long and Stephanie G. with all of the hard work and time management we put into this website it would be very disappointing if we were to not even place in the top 5, but we know that all of our hard teamwork will pay off in the end. This has been a great experience for my team and I. It is great feeling to know that you are actually competing towards a common goal against people of your age group in different parts of the country. I am glad to see that when people come together with great diversity they can great one amazing product and idea. I am very excited for this Friday so I can attend the award ceremony with my peers. It will be an experience that I will never forget and a moment that I will cherish if I were to win an award.
